![]() ![]() I can almost always best someone who insults me. I'm outspoken and can take a lot of ribbing, and am not always very thoughtful. At the time I was beginning to wonder if I wasn't hurting too many people somehow. If Stormbringer can be seen as either an extention of Elric's character and intermost feelings, or the symbolism of such, then were those times it lashed out at a friend a sign that Elric no longer had full trust in them, perhaps subconsciously perceiving them as a threat, even though he may not have been fully aware that he doubted their loyalty or friendship? And was Moonglum spared from such an unsuspecting attack because Elric never once doubted Moonglum's trust and friendship?Īnd I know, I know - if I want to see it that way, than I can! However, I noticed that these occasions are usually preceeded by some sign of doubt, or - perhaps - mistrust. I figured this question/observation might get lost in the 'man alone' thread, so thought I'd bring it up separately, here. ![]()
